libertas-firmware software package provides Firmware for Marvells libertas wireless chip series (dummy package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libertas-firmware
libertas-firmware is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libertas-firmware package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libertas-firmware *
You will get with libertas-firmware package name, version, architecture and description in a table
